6. Intellectual Property and Marks
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of NAIWA or its licensors and is protected by UAE and international intellectual-property laws.
The NAIWA name, logo, and certification marks are marks of NAIWA. Use of these marks, and any use of NAIWA certificates, registry entries, reports, screenshots, listings, summaries, or platform materials, requires NAIWA's prior written permission unless expressly permitted by NAIWA's published brand or certification-use rules. NAIWA may suspend, revoke, correct, or restrict any mark usage, certificate, listing, report, or registry entry that is inaccurate, misleading, expired, misused, unlawful, reputationally harmful, or outside the permitted scope.
Certification: Scope, Standards, and Limitations
7. Nature and Scope of Certification
NAIWA certification is a private, documentation-based, point-in-time, limited-scope assessment that evaluates an enterprise's operational readiness against NAIWA's published criteria across a defined set of pillars. It reflects only the documentation submitted, assessed at the time of review. It is a private opinion and is not an official, governmental, or regulatory determination, and does not constitute a guarantee of future performance, an endorsement or recommendation for investment, government or regulatory approval, or verification of facts beyond the submitted documentation.
Within Scope of Certification
- • Verification of submitted documentation against the published assessment criteria
- • Evaluation across the standardized readiness pillars
- • Point-in-time compliance status determination
- • Issuance of verifiable certification records
- • Inclusion in the public verification registry
Outside Scope of Certification
- • Ongoing monitoring or continuous compliance assessment
- • Financial, legal, tax, or investment advice
- • Guarantee of business performance or outcomes
- • Government or regulatory endorsement
- • Facilitation of funding, investment, or partnerships
8. Assessment Methodology and Limitations
The assessment is based solely on documentation and evidence submitted by the applicant, and is subject to the following inherent limitations:
- Documentation reliance: Assessment is based on submitted documentation. Unless expressly stated in writing for a specific engagement, NAIWA does not independently verify the authenticity or accuracy of source documents.
- No independent verification, inspection, or audit: NAIWA does not conduct on-site inspections, physical inspections, or a financial or statutory audit, and does not perform ongoing monitoring of certified enterprises.
- Point-in-time assessment: Certification reflects status at the time of evaluation and does not account for subsequent changes to the enterprise's circumstances.
- Framework boundaries: Assessment is limited to the published pillar framework and does not evaluate aspects outside those defined criteria.
- No predictive capability: Certification does not predict future performance, compliance, solvency, or business outcomes.
9. No Warranty
NAIWA certification is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. NAIWA makes no representations or warranties regarding the merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of any certification status or information. Users rely on certification information at their own risk.
10. Point-in-Time Nature and Registry Authority
Certification is valid for the period specified in the certification record, and may be suspended, revoked, corrected, or allowed to expire. The enterprise's circumstances may change during the certification period, and certification status reflects only the assessment at the time of evaluation.
The public verification registry is the authoritative source of current status; the registry status at the time of viewing prevails over any certificate, screenshot, or copy. Always verify current certification status through the official verification registry before relying on certification information, and place no reliance on a certificate beyond its stated scope.
11. Third-Party Reliance
Any third party that accesses, references, relies on, partners with, sponsors, integrates with, promotes, uses, or evaluates NAIWA certification, registry status, listings, reports, or AI outputs must conduct its own independent due diligence, KYC, KYB, AML/sanctions checks, and legal, financial, tax, technical, commercial, and suitability assessment before making any decision. NAIWA outputs are not a substitute for that diligence.
Third parties who rely on NAIWA certification status for any purpose do so at their own risk, and NAIWA accepts no liability for decisions made by third parties based on certification information, including decisions by financial institutions, investors, or commercial partners. See the Terms of Use, Section 17, for the full third-party reliance terms.
